The Hydra of Lerna

In a swamp close to the town of Lerna, there was a monster that had a body like a snake and 9 dragon heads. It was called the "Hydra of Lerna".

Eurystheus sent Hercules to kill this monster. This was a difficult task because one of the Hydra's heads was immortal. Hercules took his friend Iolaos to help him with this difficult task. Soon they found the monster. They lit a fire and Hercules lit up his arrows from that fire. He started throwing the arrows at the Hydra but all this did was to make the snake like creature wilder and more fierce.

Hercules started to hit the heads with his club and cut them off.
For hours he tried to kill the beast, but when he would cut one head off, two would grow in its place. They had to think of something else.

Suddenly Hercules had an idea. He would cut off each head and his friend Iolaos, would burn the neck with a lit piece of wood. One by one, Hydra's heads were falling on the ground. Finally the immortal head was cut off and Hydra fell lifeless in front of them. Hercules opened up its belly and dipped his arrows in the Hydras poisoned blood.

Then he buried the monster and put a big rock on it, so nobody could ever exhume it. He returned to Tirintha (Tiryns) awaiting his next task...

Doctor

Doctor is a man who treats people. He wears a special white clothes and works in a hospital. Doctors always have a work worldwide, but of course they have to know language. But they have an international language too, which every doctor knows. This language is Latin. At university they learn and learn it from the first day of study till last. Doctors have a great salary too, but their work isn`t easy. They must be clever, attentive, helpful, responsible and kind. Sometimes from doctor`s reason depends somebody`s life. If doctor says something wrong, many people could suffer. So they always have to make correct decisions. I think profession of a doctor is very important and complicated and we have to respect them.

School Lunch

It is our lunch for Thursday: spaghetti wiht topping from the pieces of meat and carrot, some salad. For deverage is coffee and for addition is some bread.

Dangerous Holiday

It was hot summer in 2010. English student John was travelling around Russia. He was interesting in Russian culture and he was travelling around villages. One day John was driving in the forest. John helped Maria to carry her basket to car. They drived from fiery forest very fast. When they left forest they phoned for fire-brigade. In the end grandmother Maria was rescue and they with John made friends. John promised to visit Maria next summer.

Chapter 1. The Scorpion Bite.
In this chapter is told about that Kino`s son was bitten by the scorpion. Kino is the head hero. The scorpion bite boy and he might die. Doctor in their country treated only rich people and Kino with his neighbors knew it but they nevertheless went to pursy doctor. Doctor`s servant said that doctor was very busy but in fact doctor didn`t want to help to moneyless people. Kino came back to his small house.

Chapter 2. Kino Finds The Pearl.
In this chapter is told about how Kino found the pearl. One morning he with his wife went to find the pearls. Kino did all necessary things and jumped into the ocean. He was young and strong and could stay under the water for two minutes. He carefully chose the oysters. He emerged from water and climbed into the canoe. Then he became opening all oysters. In one of them Kino and his wife found the pearl. Now they might pay the doctor.

Charlie has enough active and strained lifestyle. He drives car and then he goes to bank or shop to give or take the money. Charlie`s life is dangerous too. Him may kill robbers or thiefs and crook people`s money. His proffesion is very defendant.
